Why I built Leaving Normal
Astrology has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. For more than a decade, I’ve written spiritual and astrological content for a major web publication, reaching millions of readers. It’s been meaningful work, but something kept tugging at me. I wanted to build something more personal, more honest, and a lot less generic than what most of the spiritual web has to offer.
My own path took me inward. I grew up in a Christian school, and the rigidity of religion never fit for me. I think a lot of people land in the same place. Drawn to something bigger than themselves, but uninterested in being told exactly what that something has to look like.
After diving into UFO/UAP research for more than 2 decades, I found the work of Dolores Cannon and started learning QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique), energy and frequency healing, and diving more into the alignment of the stars. That work cracked something open for me, like a beautiful geode. It made the inner world feel real and accessible in a way nothing else had.
Leaving Normal is what came out of all of it. A space for people who take this stuff seriously without taking themselves too seriously. No dogma, no hierarchy, no one telling you what your experience is supposed to mean. It’s a personal journey.

What is Leaving Normal?
Most spiritual content online is built for everyone, which means it’s really built for no one. Generic sun-sign horoscopes. One-size-fits-all affirmations. Daily readings that could apply to half the planet.
Leaving Normal is the opposite of that.
Inside the membership, your content is built from your actual birth chart. Affirmations, horoscopes, tarot readings, aura readings, meditations, and more. All of it is personalized to the specific positions of the planets at the exact moment you were born. We use real astronomical data from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory to calculate your chart, then build everything around it.
It’s the difference between a horoscope written for a third of a billion people and one written for you.
What "leaving normal" actually means
Normal is the default script. Work, consume, repeat. Move through the week, get to the weekend, do it again. It’s the version of life that’s been handed to most of us, and for a lot of people, it quietly doesn’t fit.
Leaving Normal is stepping out of that script and into something fuller. A life with more of you in it. More attention to the things that actually feed you. More willingness to be present, challenged, inspired, and changed.
